The vines at Bendooley Vineyard thrive in the Southern Highlands’ rich, red volcanic soil and high altitude. Warm days and long, cool evenings through the ripening period means our fruit remains on the vines longer, resulting in a fruit-forward aromatic style of wine with good cellaring potential.

Our viticulturist, Ben Brazenor, has a hands-on approach to tending the vines and together with our talented winemaker Jonathan Holgate, we are producing handcrafted, boutique wines of distinction. Produced under the Bendooley Vineyard label are classic varietals including Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Pinot Gris. We also produce a Merlot Cabernet blend, a cool-climate Shiraz blend and our acclaimed Ex Libris.
