Cellar Door

“The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependant on it, can still ripen a bunch of
grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.”
Galileo Galilei.

An astonishing and inspiring space, our brand new Cellar Door is a destination in itself. Built from locally-sourced stone with pitched timber ceilings, steel beams and extensive use of glass, the structure has been architecturally engineered to become an extension of the vineyard. Centred around a magnificent and unique circular fireplace that draws on medieval craftsmanship and is a testament to local artistry, this is a space designed to inspire an international wine-tasting and epicurean journey.

Featuring a specially commissioned artwork by John Olsen that is dramatic in both size and gastronomic symbolism, and a bar hewn from a naturally-fallen 170-year-old radiata pine from the Estate, a private dining experience becomes an elegant celebration amidst vineyard views.

For a spontaneous wine-tasting experience or for wine-centred, casual dining, the bar area is designed around comfortable couches and intimate seating. There is also a picturesque courtyard situated at the vineyard’s end.
